Step 1: Prepare local linux terminal
- Install Windows Subsystem for Linux / Ubuntu
- Install Ansible:
sudo apt -y install software-properties-common sudo apt-add-repository ppa:ansible/ansible sudo apt install ansible
- Get repository with Ansible files:
git clone https://{ansible-library} cd ansible-library
Step 2: Generate Cloud VM (Hetzner, Netcup,...)
- Install latest Ubuntu LTS
- Set username / password
- Information required for next steps:
- IP of VM
- username / password
Step 3: Adjust DNS entries
- Make sure the desired DNS entries point to the (new?) IP of the VM
